This place is so interesting. It's pulls me in every time. Been here like 20 times! Always stop to visit.
Stopping here was a interesting highlight of our drive today. It's just a short drive off the highway and after a lifetime of hearing Billy the Kid stories, getting a pic at his grave was a "must do". Of course, we all know Billy the Kid was a punk, and in typical punk fashion, people continue to vandalize the site.
Great pit stop of history along our route from Vegas to N. Texas! Staff was knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and share more information and take photos of us!
The Kid's wandering grave is cool, but the Memorial is a fantastic walk through a tumultuous period of history. All ages, and no actual tourist traps. Make a stop!
